One way use a Keyspan remote with other audio sources
Authored by: mdale7 on Aug 09, '05 01:20:33PM

I've had really great luck using Keyspan's DMR application to customize how my remote works with my computer. You can easily set it up to run certain applescripts depending on which program is at the front. For example, when in DVD player, I use the remote to play, pause, switch in and out of fullscreen, pause and hide the movie (we're not supposed to be watching DVDs at school). On the other hand, I've set up the global default to play/pause iTunes, change the system volume, move the mouse, and switch between open apps.

Basically, by just tweaking the Keyspan software you can have whatever control you want.
