Use a Linux file system for Mac/PC drive sharing
Authored by: GlowingApple on Aug 08, '05 01:13:48PM

Unfortunately this program/driver/kext doesn't work in Tiger. Does anyone know of any other way to mount ext2/3 in Tiger?

I can still boot into Gentoo, and can read and write HFS+, so it's not crucial, but would be nice to have full interoperability between the two OSs.

I have to agree with tji, I'm quite surprised that Apple can't read ext2/3 natively. My guess is that they are sticking to open source with UNIX rather than Linux to stay away from the current political issues with the GPL and such (we all love SCO don't we?).
