I originally tried the fix permissions without any luck.

From what I remember reading, Palm no longer "supports" mac. So the software is sometimes updated for incompatibilities, but it will not be re-written to work with Tiger. Which is funny, because they did release an update "Tiger Compatible" version. Then they tell you to do what I did. Hmmm how soon till the PocketMacs. I guess some would call it an Ipod. I guess I want an Ipod phone then.

I was about to delay the purchase of a digital camera...but I got the palm stuff to work.

I do not own the product, nor do I currently have the funds for that. I keep buying computers, cameras, and LCD TVs. If you care to donate to the Paul's missing sync fund, I am open.

It seems it's a general 10.4 problem... At first I had it when intalling a Palm conduit for iSync... 'repair permissions' in the 'disk utility' helped out of this one...

but when installing an original Flash MX from cd ....: code -5000 access denied
and there are many other programs giving me the same error code when installing... (macromedia, canoscan etc.) perhaps it has something to do with the VISEINSTALLER?

now i can only use apple progs and microsoft programs (office)
