10.4: Sync Motorola C975 with iSync via USB
I don't have a System -> Library -> SyncServices -> MotorolaConduit.bundle folder either. Does this only show up if you've already synced a Motorola phone? Is there another way to get it?
10.4: Sync Motorola C975 with iSync via USB
Ah, crumbs. It seems my "archive and install" install of Tiger has that MotorolaConduit.bundle but plain Tiger doesn't have it.
Apparently (from the above forum, 3rd post) Tiger only has the MetaClasses.plist so just modifying the MetaClasses.plist should work as it contains the USB device/vendor ID for the phone. Unfortunately, because of my install of Tiger (and reluctance to do a clean install right now) I can't verify whether that will work. Anyone care to try this on fresh Tiger minus the MotorolaConduit.bundle bit?
10.4: Motorola V975 works with OnSync but not iSync via USB
I have just upgraded my iBook from Panther to Tiger, and could only modify the MetaClasses.plist. I use a Motorola V975, and I guess that can add whatever phone/model. |
