Using Quicksilver to suspend EVERYTHING!
Authored by: dzurn on Jul 21, '05 06:21:52PM

Wow, sounds neat.

So I tried using QuickSilver to pause Classic to see if it worked. I started QS, typed "Classic" and selected Classic Support (sounded right), I hit tab and selected Suspend Execution.

It stopped Classic, all right. However, it also stopped Entourage, Finder, Dock, Safari, InDesign CS, Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Adobe Acrobat, QuickSilver, DiskTracker, PageMaker, and TextEdit too.

I couldn't do ANYTHING.

The cursor moved around the screen, but nothing else worked. No clicks anywhere did anything. Command-tab did nothing. Menus did nothing. I had to hit the Power button to restart since I couldn't even get to QuickSilver to tell it to resume.

So be careful what you suspend. :(

Madness takes its toll.
Please have exact change.
