10.4: A script to run iSync with one click
One line of code should be enough for the cron triggered version:
If you want a script that runs in the background and tells iSync to synchronize every hour then use this code:
You will have to save the script text as an application bundle and make sure the 'Stay Open' checkbox is selected. After saving open the Info.plist file that is in the application bundle and add the key 'LSUIElement' and give it a string value of '1'. This way the script will not show up in the Dock. The last step would be to add the script application to the login items.I hope the iSync menu extra will be able to start iSync synchronization again some day. |
