Wonderfully context-aware

When I learned about this last spring, I was concerned that we'd lost the old ( OS 9) way of printing a list of files in a folder, which was to highlight your files, hit cmd-C, then go to a text editor and paste in the list. Kinda like an "ls" for the GUI. Well that still works! If you cmd-C a file in the Finder, and paste in a text editor, you get the name. If you paste over another folder, you get a copy of the file, and if you go to rename a file (where the name is editable) and hit paste, you get the name. Nifty. I just wish you could cut (cmd-X) files to move them between folders.
