Sync a SonyEricsson K750i with 10.3's iSync - problems
Authored by: jps on Jun 27, '05 02:37:27PM

thank you for the great help on connecting the k750i to mac x10.3.

sadly in my case it hasn't worked as planned, well it hasn't worked at all.
followed the detailed guide to the letter (including the removal of previous sync's) and inserted the code as instructed - and we do make a conncetion, of sorts....

it will automatically appear in the iSync app when i pair the devices together (with the phones name), it will make a bluetooth connection when i go to sync content (the phone asks 'mac requests access to your items'), and the progress bar even starts to move, if only across 5 percent of the length, it stalls... thinks... and then rushes through to the end. followed by this warning message

"Monday, 27 June 2005 19:32
Can't synchronize contacts to jK750: device is not available"

not sure whats goin on, but it isn't working for me sadly.
have you had any other people with this problem or know of a way round it?

any help would be great

Sync a SonyEricsson K750i with 10.3's iSync - problems

Same here... did it to the letter...no luck I guess. Although luck wasn't mentioned in the article.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.3.5 and iSync 1.5. with SE K750i.

This doesn't work here. I tried all varieties of pairing.

Remarkable?:
When I pair from the phone the bluetooth connection doesn't stay. The phone name gets bold only briefly.

iSync takes quite some time before it gets connected with the phone and during that time the add device is not possible. Then suddenly the icon is there by itself.
Then the sync seems possible. I choose option to merge, but after some time it seems to be finished(bar is full), iSync tells me it didn't work.

When I delete the device and try to add it, it cannot be found by iSync anymore. Although in the BT prefs the device is still there and connected.

What the F*^%$##@#@@? I want my adresses back through iSync!!!!!
I don't want to drag and drop .vcf files.

Restarting didn't help either.
Additional pairing from Mac (as indicated by some people) didn't help either.

BTW: service list on phone only says: pushing objects, file transfers. Is this strange?

Who can really help?
