Works ONLY for DWL-G122 ver B1 -- But Linksys, and others have RA2500USB, too (see list inside)
According to RALINKtech forums (see here: http://61.222.76.235/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=3& ), there are a number of other USB dongle devices that work, so long as the guts of the dongle are truly the RA2500USB.

I don't believe KisMac supports the DWL-G122 yet. It only supports the DWL-122... Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'd love to get it working...
Re: Linksys, and others have RA2500USB, too
So, to see if I understood correctly:
If I go to the Ralink RT2500 chipset page at http://ralink.rapla.net/ and search ebay for any of the models found in the USB column, I should be able to use anything that matches on my Mac. Correct? Any other gotchas? Would all of these still work on Mac OS 10.4.5? |
