10.4: How to run Carbon Copy Cloner
I created a small applescript:
10.4: How to run Carbon Copy Cloner
I modified this Applescript to get rid of the last of the errors.
Don't type the DRAG-TO-HERE, instead right-click (control-click) the CCCloner app in Finder and choose "Show Package Contents". Open "Contents" then "MacOS". Now drag the "Carbon Copy Cloner" file with the "exec" icon into the script. It should paste a long pathname there.
Make sure it is inside single quotes as it will have spaces in it. Finish that line off with an ampersand and a closing quote, and you should be good to go. I saved it as an Applescript app called "Run As Root" and put it in the CCCloner's folder. You'll have to type in your password into the Terminal window that pops up, but once the program starts running you can quit Terminal. |
