Get notification of new Mail messages in 10.4
as I said in another comment, most of the crashes that have been reported to us (did you report yours?) have been caused by other plug-ins not liking GrowlMail's presence. GrowlMail by itself rarely crashes.
those are actually registrations, not notifications. we fixed this in the 0.7 framework, so any applications that are still not deleting these files are either still using the old framework or are out of date on your system. you can read the files in your favourite text editor to see which application(s) are generating them. they're not stored permanently, however; they're in /tmp, so they'll be deleted when you shut down.
'Summary mode', as we call that, can be turned off in GrowlMail's preferences (which are in Mail preferences). |
