10.4: Use Preview to quickly view a folder of images
I may be missing something here, but I've been using this functionality even before 10.4. I just hilite a group of pictures (they have to be set to open with Preview) and double-click on them. Preview opens, displaying the images in a drawer. I discovered this quite by accident under 10.3 and have found it very useful. Perhaps I should have posted a hint about it....?

The difference with this hint is that instead of highlighting a bunch of images (for which you must first navigate into the folder containing said images) you can now simply drag the folder itself.
