10.4: Quickly paste object paths in the Terminal
Authored by: hnhansen on Jun 03, '05 02:52:38PM

If I copy a "Web Internet Location" file aka a ".webloc" file, a paste in Terminal only produces the name of the file, as in "Apple - Start.webloc".

If I drag a .webloc file into a Terminal window I get the URL of the file, as in "http://www.apple.com/startpage/".

Any other file or folder that is copied and pasted works as expected.
