Yes, I confirm that, very handy indeed. But I would like to add that the DVD Player app is more picky than it used to be. Now, if you renamed a VIDEO_TS folder to "Nameofmymovie VIDEO_TS" for example, DVD player will refuse to play it. It used not to be the case.

Thanks for that tip, cause that's exactly what I did when I was getting the VIDEO_TS folder from a DVD and putting it onto my local computer. I renamed it, and it would open with VLC but not with DVD player. Then, when I renamed it back to VIDEO_TS, it opened just fine in DVD player. Now, I guess I'll just add the name that I wanted in the first place to the spotlight comments for the folder.

Sidenote: Man, that's just stupid. lol
Sidesidenote: I wonder if there's a way to trick DVD Player into thinking that the name of the file hasn't really changed. I guess I could rename it again and try that force open thing the other guy said.
