10.4: Automatically accept video chats in iChat
I have been working on something that is simular - 2 friends who don't know anything about computers would like to be able to do simple video conference with each other out of state. Both have access to dsl/cable internet. I suggested 2 apple computers (ibooks for example) but one of them is old and has trouble with a bunch of mouse clicks, selections, etc. is what you guys have been talking about here, simular? So the question is can you startup ichat with isight and have it auto connect to a given buddy (there would only be one person to connect to at each computer)? For example one ibook would be left on all the time, and the other would be powered up, one click on an icon in middle of the screen, and auto connect to the one and only other person. That person would then see the invite(? and click on it and they would be up and talking/seeing...is this posibble? Thanks for your time and help. |
