Use Enter to edit iTunes song names

This is actually a universal name editing shortcut that can be used throughout the system and in most applications (iPhoto, Entourage, Mail, Etc.). My recollection is that it was in OS 10.3 too, although I am admittedly forgetting 10.3 pretty quick.

Use Enter to edit iTunes song names

Well it's been in the finder since day 1, but the key to press was return OR enter. Hitting return in iTunes will play the song. I'm pretty certain older versions of iTunes would play the song when pressing Enter as well, so this might be a recent addition. Can anyone verify that?

The Finder has offered it not since Day 1, but since System 7.

Works in Final Cut? Triple-joy! You just shaved hours or days off of my working life -- thanks! God how I hated renaming things in FCP, with projects where I'd be renaming 30-100 items at a time. Bless you, bless you, bless you.
