10.4: Add Motorola V710 Bluetooth support to iSync

I would like to second this. After getting the metadevices.plist file in order (hex like example, no bold tags), the BT Setup Assistant finally gave me the iSync option.

However, iSync claimed, oddly, that it didn't support the device.
It did this twice (I deleted and re-paired the phone four times total).
Attempt #3, iSync said it couldn't "connect to the device."
Attempt #4 finally offered what I wanted: "determining contents of device" or whatever it said.

So, if it doesn't work the first time you have the file in order, try, try, try and try again.

Please tell me HOW to get to the metadevices.plist. I.e. how do you get to the place in step 2 (from original tip) where you type in the fix.

I've been to untilities, terminal, then used cd .. to go up two levels and I typed cd applications and arrived at applications. What do I type from this point to change the V710 entry. Please assume I know nothing. I bought the PowerBook G4 a week ago and only discovered the Terminal yesterday.

I greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks.
