10.4: Create 'shortcut searching' in Spotlight
Launchbar (4.0.2) seems to work just fine under Tiger (though the advice on hiding the launchbar icon whilst running does not seem to work as it did on Panther). I've moved from being a Launchbar fan to a Butler fan but now back to Launchbar. The main reason being speed. On my 1.2 Ghz iBook, Launchbar can search my >6,000 song music collectionin seconds whereas Butler grinds to a halt.

Slightly OT, but in response to the prior poster (Keith): Double-check that you did everything correctly in order to get LaunchBar to run without the dock icon - it *does* work under Tiger. In case you were working from memory, the full details as how to do it are listed in the "Tips & Tricks" section of LaunchBar's help system.

I confirm that hiding the LB Dock icon works as before. |
