10.4: Add Motorola V710 Bluetooth support to iSync

What about those of us who are US Cellular customers? Is there any hope for us? Our phones have the same OS as the Verizon ones, but I don't think we can download the Vzn updates.

I'm on US Cellular, and the hack works for me, no problems. For reference, my phone's firmware is whatever came with it (8700_01.30.0F).

That firmware 8700_01_.30.0F is current?
I ask as I am going to replace my V730 with a V710 (I cracked the hinges) and would like to use Bluetooth with my Mac Mini but having Verizon (CDMA) has kept me behind in tech features.

I looked at my boss's V710 and his S/W is 8700_01.30.8F. Would this be newer or older? (his phone is 4 months old).

I wish these phones could turn on faster... ;)

I bought the phone in December '04, so I'm assuming that I'm behind in firmware updates. I can't imagine that the firmware upgrade would break this functionality.
