exporting equations as pdf grpahics
Authored by: SOX on May 18, '05 08:45:40PM can also export equations as eps/pdf/tiff.
if you export them you cant directly paste them into ms WORD.
to work around this use and open from clipboard.
save the file and drag the file into WORD.
One problem remains. Word only uses a tiff version at 72DPI. so you cant change the font size or scale it.

I note that you can place the file in and then once again the pdf is scalable. (if you scale it and paste it back into WORD it does not work).

The only workaround I can think of for word is pretty ugly. Namely, in zoom in till it is the size you like. Now use to grab the scaled 72spi image and paste this into word.

Apparently Word just sucks. Of course you can always use words built in eqn editor. or you could paste the tex into some tex2pdf program
