10.4: Hide Fink's /sw directory ... or any directory
Authored by: GlowingApple on May 14, '05 03:37:16AM

I had had problems with this in Panther until I realized that I needed to ignore the last slash on folders (e.g. /sw/). When tab completing it would add the slash in, but for some reason SetFile -a V /sw/ never seemed to work. When using SetFile -a V /sw it would work just fine. I haven't tried on Tiger yet, but I would assume the command would work the same.
