10.4: Send Safari link via Mail and drag-and-drop

You could drag URLs from the Safari directly into the body of an email message in 10.3. It was not however easy for me to do consistently as you had to be able to see the body of the email message to drag it into, but it could be done, and I used this feature frequently. The problem is usually as soon as I clicked on the icon in the URL area, Safari would pop to the foreground and often would block the email window. By appropriate positioning of the windows though, it was possible to drag URLs into the email though. It was strange however as sometimes Safari wouldn't pop to the front and sometimes it wouldn't (although usually it did).

Possibly a bit late now, but you could have used Expose there. Start dragging the link, press F9, drag over to Mail, and press F9 again while still holding the mouse button. Mail is now at the front, and you can let go of the button :)
