10.4: Change all Finder folders to identical views

I use QuicKeys to do "one off" window repositioning in the Finder. In the Finder I created an AppleScript QuicKey & use this script.

tell application "Finder"
set the bounds of window 1 to {0,45, 1373, 999}
set the current view of window 1 to column view
end tell

I have it assigned to trigger on Control Option Arrow Up Key. This way if a window opens from an image file, or any other source that I want to see "my way" ... this does the trick. You can alter the window size to anything you like.

You could do this with just an AppleScript too & assign it a keyboard shortcut even without QuicKeys. It's just easier for me to do it that way.
