Works for me.

I replaced the(0S9) Documents/Eudora Folder with an alias to (OS X) /Users/••••/Documents/Eudora Folder.
The old Eudora 5.1 on my OS 9 partition found all the mailboxes on my OS X partition without skipping a hearbeat.

Pretty handy if you're back ad forth.

Put Eudora Folder on a different partion from the OS(es)

Similarly, I have my Eudora folder on a separate partition and have aliases in both my OS 9 and OS X partitions pointing to that folder. I can access the folder from my Eudora for OS 9 or OS X, and also from the Classic app on my OS X partition. It all stays the same. I just back up the Eudora Folder on my "Files" partition. Another reason to love Eudora. ;-)>

How to go the other way: use the OS 9 Eudora Settings and Phone Book with the OS X Eudora beta?
