you might want to check out a fairly easy way to get text to the PSP (from your mac). Check out roboticjelly.net. Look for "PSP Book"

PSPBook is by far the best method of converting any text file to a group of jpegs for PSP reading. It supports full font and compression settings. Just select your input file, click export, select destination, and you are set.

This hint does provide something. Much like itunes gives us movie management (hmmn....did someone take the name iMovie..oh yeah..I guess we did..what do we do guys..let's placate the qt 7 full screen people) this lets you manage your ebooks in a library manner. It takes some space, but it works. The lack of good ebook management AND viewing software in an integrated application is really painful in this hour and minute so this hint has something going for it even if you use PSPBook to do the work anyways.
