10.4: Add Nokia 9300 iSync support
Authored by: Mas1zane on May 09, '05 11:33:26AM

Thanx. This is a great post. I got my Nokia 9500 iSyncing with my PowerBook running Tiger vie BT in no time with no problems (and it was the first time I have ever used terminal). Now does anyone know how to get the 9500 icon onto iSync instead of the nGage one?

crisis over, thanks to some help from Douglas even I now have success. thanks for the useful posts, not I don't have to throw the 9500 away!
Basic moral of the story, re-boot the Mac, reset the 9500 (remove battery), remove any pairing (if it didn't work first time, start again from scratch) and keep percivering.

I had to reinstall the AppleSyncAgent on my phone 11 times!!

Now it's just perfect.

One other thing Douglas suggested (that may have helped) was to sync in small parts. Start by just syncing one calendar (and no contacts) and then as it succeeds, add more and more calendars (if you have more), then finally adding the Contacts (typically more information). Now very very happy!

Chris
