10.4: Use the Weather widget from non-USA locations
Authored by: sigma8 on May 04, '05 01:19:59PM

My default location is Boston, MA (usa)

I tried to add "Munich, Germany" to the clock widget, and it did not work. I then tried adding "Munich", and hit enter.. It then said "validating" and eventually allowed me to select "Munich, Germany" from a pulldown. I selected it, but it did not work.

I then made another clock widget, and typed in "London" for the location. It validated and allowed me to select "London, United Kingdom". This worked great. Perplexed, I tried Munich again in the first widget, but it still did not work!

I then changed the degrees from Farenheit to Celsius, and tried again, and it still did not work, but upon changing it back to Farenheit, it worked. Or at least, I think that was the catalyst. I may have opened a new clock widget and set the location in there.

Whichever the case, international cities _do_ work and I'd venture to say there is some funky bugs at the moment.
