10.4: Use the Weather widget from non-USA locations

Another way to do this is to create a new Weather widget (it defaults to your timezone city setting to start in Fahrenheit).

Click the 'i' (info) button to flip the widget.

Enter the city you want (smaller towns may not work).

Then press the 'Tab' key *once*.

It will then automatically start 'Validating...' and bring down a drop down menu of cities available including non US ones.

Choose your city from the drop down menu (if there are a lot of choices you may need to scroll down the drop down menu to see them all)

Select F or C (or else you will get some scary temperatures :-)

Then click 'Done' to flip back to the front and wait for the new city to appear.

If it does not check your internet connection or try again after are launch.

Don't forget it is possible to have a number of Weather widgets open at the same time for different cities around the world etc.

And you can drag one onto your desktop so you can see it all the time (see separate hint for doing this on the site)
