The location of the AliasBadgeIcon.icns file has changed in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger:

Like the poster that most recently preceded you in this thread (nearly a year ago), I had trouble switching permissions on the file using the Finder's Get Info pulldowns. Rather than following arun's advice about changing (and unchanging) permissions for both parent folder and file, I fired up Terminal. Since the procedure isn't detailed anywhere in the thread, here's what to type in Terminal:
Hit Return, then type:
Hit return again, enter admin password at prompt, and it's done.Thanks again. --- |
