Replace Safari's tab changing shortcuts in 1.3+
Authored by: TvE on Apr 21, '05 11:02:51AM

Hej Jakob

Jeg har da ingen problemer med - stadig - at kunne bruge CMD-SHIFT-VENSTRE/HØJRE PIL for at skifte mellem TAB's i Safari, det må da vist være dig der har pillet ;-)

For the rest of you non-danes:
I am - still - able to use CMD-RIGHT/LEFT-ARROW to change between TABS in Safari ;-)

with the debug menu active, it still shows cmd-shift-arrows for switching tabs, and it still works on my newly updated safari

Mine still works that way too, I have other applications that use the same shortcuts for tabs as Safari (Adium for example) and I would like to force FireFox to use the same shortcut, but I can't find the menu item. Anyone know if there's a way to force it? I'm not afraid to edit things, I just need a pointer on where to look

Type "about:config" in the address field.

Well, yes, the shortcuts still work IF you don't have an active text-area in focus. If the cursor is in a text area (Location bar, input field etc...) it's only the new ones working.

Well, I'm mostly on a PowerBook, changing Tab's all the time and not editing text, so this is what works for me. YMMW.. ;-)

Hej Thomas!
