Use Save As in Safari 1.3's contextual menus
Authored by: idji on Apr 20, '05 10:34:46AM

Now if they would only add commands like : "Set Desktop Background to this image" or "Save this image in iPhoto", that would be usefull.

Or maybe there are already some third party hacks/scripts/contextual menu items that does this?

"Save this image in iPhoto"

If iPhoto is in your dock, you can just drag pictures from a web page onto the iPhoto icon.

Simon

Try command-clicking (or right-clicking) on an image in a webpage. Now with the context menu visible, press the Option key. The Download and Save menu items should toggle.

Obviously, when you said "Try command-clicking", you meant "Try control-clicking" instead.

If you plan on upgrading to Tiger, Apple says this one of the new features:

Safari and iPhoto Integration
Easily save a picture from the web to iPhoto with a single click.
