Has anyone verified that 10.3.9 does in fact break suid scripts?
(This is one of the reasons I wait a week before installing an update.)

For that matter, does anyone know WHY they did it? They cite
CAN-2005-0970, but the details on that appear to be embargoed.

I just find it hard to believe that they couldn't find a better solution
than completely disabling the functionality. Suid script issues, and
solutions, have been known for well over a decade. Is this really
something so radically new and bad, that it couldn't be fixed?
