About the syslogd options, the "-s" switch still isn't shown in the man page, but that's the one that I always have to remove from /etc/rc. Now, sometime during the 10.3 series (I believe), they added a line near the bottom of /etc/rc that looks for /etc/rc.local and sources it, if found. That makes it a bit easier for those of us who have a small action which doesn't require a service or StartupItem to be defined; Larry.
