Desktop picture prefs not sticking
Authored by: rajoftherings on Apr 13, '05 03:01:51PM

The all-white is interesting, but here's another problem. When I select an iPhoto Album as a source of desktop pictures, the folder isn't updated if I remove some photos from the album in iPhoto.

Stranger still, the thumbnails in the Desktop preference pane are updated, but the old, discarded photos will still come up if the background is set to change automatically.

I tried repairing permissions and even discarding the desktop pictures plist, but the problem continues. I haven't been able to find an Apple Kbase article about this....

Any hints/fixes/similar issues?

Thanks in advance,

Raj

White Background

I tried this and the results were not pleasant. When you go to your desktop the filenames are almost unreadable. I'll stick with the default blue wallpaper. Next hint please.

You don't get it - the point is that, if you need a white background for screenshots, this is an easy way to set it up. Period.
