Move between pages in Firefox with new PowerBooks

I've noticed this behavior in Firefox 1.0 and 1.0.1 (sepecifically the optimized builds found here) on my 1GHz TiBook, so I think it's the newer versions of the browser rather than the new trackpads. Personally, I find it very annoying but there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off.

you can modify this by using the about:config option. Scroll down and change:
*mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action => 0
*mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.sysnumlines => true

that's it, no more horizontal scrolling.

I believe there was a hint about this already too.

Try:

System Preferences/Keyboard and Mouse/Trackpad

Turn off "Allow Horizontal Scrolling"

Works pretty well for me :)
