Hey MS, no need to delete your incriminating emails

With this hint, you can drag an email (from anywhere: In, Sent, Trash, etc.) into Drafts, edit it and save it as a Draft, and then drag the email back into your its original location (In, Sent, Trash, etc.).

There we go, no incriminating evidence, and it looks less suspicious than simply deleting the entire email correspondence (does it?).

I use this trick often to clean up an email if I need to forward it to others later on or copy/paste it into an app or something. It's quite handy.

Some other apps allow you to edit a received message directly, which I prefer, but I can see why this is restricted by default.
