Use iKey to auto-hide apps when switching
Ok... I might be dumb here but couldn't you do the same thing with function keys (using the built in apple keyboard control panel, and action scripts? Instead of "cycling" through your apps using the tab key, you could just hit one key and to that app... Just an idea
Also, some here have suggested holding down the option key, however, this only works in "mouse clicking" not cycling through apps using the tab key... Then again, I might not be 100% correct with this either... Any apple scripters out there with a solution?

I've got an old app called "ASM" [it might actually be called "ASM Switcher"] that does this, in addition to providing the pre-OSX style of application menu in the menu bar, near the clock. It has since vanished from the Internet, but I find my old copy from years back continues to work in 10.3.8. |
