Switch to Pages without opening a new document
Authored by: rb3 on Feb 04, '05 03:48:17PM

My solution to this annoyance was to create a new document based on the blank template, enable the view options I prefer (e.g., invisibles, rulers, etc.) and save it as a new template. Then, under Pages' preferecnes, I enabled the choice to use that template as the basis for new documents. As handsome as the fancy templates are, I don't use them, so this permits me to have Pages start off with a blank file, which is all I really want it to do.
