Solve a NeoOffice/J patching problem

It seems you were still running NeoOffice/J 1.1 Alpha 2, and the latest patches only work on NeoOffice/J 1.1 Beta. Neo/J moved from the OpenOffice.org 1.1.2 codebase to the 1.1.3 codebase between Alpha 2 and Beta, so one can't just patch Alpha 2 and get Beta. It would be like trying to apply the Mac OS X 10.3.1 updater to Mac OS X 10.2.8....

Within a given product version (e.g., Beta), the latest patch will always contain the contents of all the previous patches for that version (like the 10.3.7 Combo updater).

BTW, I forgot to add that you shouldn't need to throw out the "support files" (aka the NeoOffice/J-1.1 folder in your ~/Library folder) to get the patches working. The folder in your Library is compatible across the x.x.1 point releases (OOo 1.1.0, 1.1.1, etc.) and Neo/J creates a new folder in your Library when the format of the contained files does change (going from Neo/J 0.x [OOo 1.0.3] to 1.1 [OOo 1.1.x]).

And one minor nit-pick: Neo/J is not "written mostly in Java." See this article in the NeoWiki for more details: http://neowiki.sixthcrusade.com/index.php/NeoJFAQ.
