Pages 'First Look' preview online

Endnote has support for scanning rtf docs, so you should be able to creat a manuscript, export as rtf, then scan that file. So yes and no. It will work, but it will not have the nice features that they make available only in Word, like unscanning a document, direct interaction with the database, etc. I would say give it a try anyway. It is easy enough to switch to Endnote, copy your citation(s), then paste that in place in your ms. Not much different than what the add-in in Word offers, but without search, etc.
