Disable Mail.app's unread message count dock icon

Mail does only show the number of unread mail in the Inbox, so why not just create a new mailbox (named something like 'Unread mail' or whatever) and set up a rule to automatically move all incoming mail into this box? The program will then never even need to change its icon in the dock.

Disable Mail.app's unread message count dock icon

I want the opposite! This behavior is actually something that has always bugged me about Mail. I don't get a lot of mail, but I do apply filters like a fiend. I've always wanted to figure out a way to make Mail include new messages that have been filtered into a folder in the dock indicator. Anybody have a solution to this? Post it as a hint!

Have you tried MailEnhancer? Check the "Dock icon count shows all unread instead of just inbox unread"
