This hint also works for the A630. You will need to change the permissions of the MotorolaConduit.bundle and the USBDevice.plist within it in order to edit the file. Now if only someone could figure out a way to enable synchronizing via BlueTooth...

Motorola A835 / V551 & iSync

My understanding is that Motorola is the culpret preventing BlueTooth synchronization via iSync.

OS X (10.3.7) recognizes the phone with no problem, but the phone won't talk to iSync, except via the USB interface.

... except that the applications:

BluePhoneElite - http://www.reelintelligence.com/BluePhoneElite/
And
OnSync - http://homepage.mac.com/antonioferraioli/index.html

apparently overcome the issues. I haven't tried either, but my son swears by OnSync with his new Motorola V551.
