Stop playing iTunes after current Party Shuffle song
don't understand. Whats a source pop-up? Do you need to go into iTunes once the song has started in order to get it to stop at the end? In which case, simply click out of whichever window your currently playing from (in this case, party shuffle) and click on another song, perhaps in your library or playlist. Play will stop end at end of song. It would be cool if you could use this as a way of telling iTunes what song to play next!

Umm... no, play doesn't stop with Party Shuffle just because you clicked another song in the library: I just confirmed that here. The original hint, however, works, and is a decent solution to the question posed.
Since you state you "don't understand" the hint: in iTunes, click on "Party Shuffle" at the left, and then notice the "source pop-up" at the bottom of the window. That is were you would switch from whatever current playlist is selected to the empty playlist. HTH.

My apologies. This indeed does not work on playlists! |
