iPhoto 05 searchable?
Is it possible to search for specific titles/keywords in iphoto now? For cataloging large numbers of media files, it's crucial to be able to set some metadata & search it. In iTunes my most frequently used feature is the search window, by far, and I've never found an equivalent in iphoto. As far as I can tell, you have to just sort your whole library according to the field you want to use as your criterion, and then scroll through the whole thing till you find the word you want. Which only works if that word is the first word in the field...

Ah, I see you haven't discovered the true power of "Smart Albums" yet. While it is just a bit kludgy, you can set alot of various search criteria in Smart Albums, which will actively update as more stuff is added that matches your criteria. I keep a Smart Album called "Find". Whenever I want to search for something, i.e. all photos with a keyword containing the word "vacation", I just edit that smart album to set the criteria appropriately. Yes, a Search field would definitely be a better solution, until Apple gets that in there, Smart Albums are a powerful search tool.
