So which port is required for Internet sharing? That depends on what you want to do. You have to open:

80 for web
25 for SMTP
22 for SSH
23 for telnet
21 and some high ports for FTP
143 for IMAP
...


It's a lot easier to use a proper firewall configuration utility (such as SunShield or BrickHouse) than mess with Apple's one when doing Internet sharing.
