WeatherPop - A menubar weather monitor
I currently have WeatherMenu <http://www.afterten.com/products/weathermenu/index.html>. How does this one compare, has anyone used both? I've bought a license to WeatherMenu years ago, and it's worked well. Lately I've noticed it getting slower though.

i've been using weathermenu for some time now. weatherpop doesn't give you a radar, which i think is a must. meteo has one, but it's a much more general map.

WeatherMenu is better, IMO. More data presentation options. More types of data available for display. Integrated radar viewer for your location and others. Better (more) types of graphical feedback in the menu bar icon (moon phases, fog, wind, cloud cover, etc.). Best of all, it's cheaper--$5.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the only thing that could be better with WeatherMenu is the performance hit when it's updating. That's why I'd rate WeatherMenu a 9 instead of a 10. |
