Cool, I had just spent some time this past weekend looking for a way to do this. I found SmartWrap, but it is shareware and requires that you "Reply" to a msg before you can re-wrap it.

Summarize seems to produce about the same results as SmartWrap, both are OK but not great. The drag about these methods is that you lose quoting levels in the msgs, so you need to select a block at a time.

FWIW, the one and only thing I miss about using Entourage is it has a fantastic re-wrapping facility. From what I recall it was uncanny how well it worked and quoting was preserved.

For cleaning up bad wraps and extra spaces and just weird stuff in text from email and web sites I found a program called Tex-Edit (not to be confused with Apple's TextEdit). It has a customizable "clean-up" option that works pretty well. It is a nice little word processor too.
