Restore Bluetooth after firmware upgrade
Authored by: Fofer on Dec 03, '04 12:19:41AM

I've had instances where my PowerBook battery got really low and I left it to sleep for many, many hours... to the point where it it wouldn't wake up and actually shut down, requiring me to plug it in, let it power up cold (and of course, charge back up again.)

The few times that has happened, the Bluetooth status menu has a line through it, indicating that it's not sensing the hardware. (Other than that, everything else is fine with the PB.)

What I've done to bring it Bluetooth back, is shut down and reset the PMU: That's shift+ctrl+option+ power for 5 seconds.

I rarely use BT on this PowerBook but I leave the menu item there so I can keep track that it's working or not.
