Reset to default?
Authored by: dperetti on Jan 26, '02 12:05:27PM

The default value is simply at the center.
You cannot make the settings permanent, and I don't plan to add this feature, because I think it just doesn't make much sense.
Changing the priority of a task is useful when you're encoding mp3 but want responsiveness in other apps.
This is not meant to be permanent. The system is supposed to be well optimized most of the time, and IE won't probably take advantage of more priority unless there are heavy concurrent tasks running.

I understand how the application works now, and will put it to good use.

Thank you for the clarification, and keep up the good work!

Best Regards

Reset to default?

is it because it's using pid (which changes each time you quit-relaunch the app?
i still don't get it though. What priority does it reserve. Is it memory allocation? or what? (please bear with me, i'm new to this unix thing.)
