Use cron to repair permissions on a regular basis

Since I have no clue really what I'm doing while playing with the Terminal, here's to hoping that this hint is good and won't break anything! Thanks, I've been looking for a way to do this without regularly running Cocktail or MacJanitor.

One quick correction to the above hint (I think) is that the last command should be
sudo chmod 555 /etc/weekly.local and not
sudo chmod 555 weekly.local

Use cron to repair permissions on a regular basis

You are correct. When I stated
sudo chmod 555
I assumed you would be in the /etc directory.

Since I had previously stated

sudo pico /etc/weekly.local
that assumption is most likely false.
